Coffee at the Center
The Centers for Exceptional Children is a unique, inclusive environment where children of all abilities grow together. We invite you to join us for an informal coffee hour to witness the incredible work of our students, teachers, and therapists.
Take a brief tour of our facility, enjoy a morning brew, and learn more about our holistic approach to early childhood education and on-site therapy. We’d love to share our story with you!

Spring Open House in the Garden
Celebrate the season with us at The Centers for Exceptional Children! We are opening up our garden for an evening of community, fresh air, and fellowship. Whether you’ve been a long-time supporter or are just getting to know us, we would love to see you there.
Enjoy light refreshments and the beauty of our outdoor space. We’ll host a brief program at 6:00 PM to share some exciting updates, but otherwise, please feel free to drop in whenever your schedule allows!
Holiday Open House
For decades, we have been empowering children with special needs and supporting their families, right here in the greater Winston-Salem neighborhood. Drop in (and invite a friend!) to learn more at our Holiday Open House & Coffee Social.
We will be hosting a brief program and guided tour at 9:00am and 10:00am. Meet our staff and teachers, experience seeing our services and programs first-hand, and enjoy complimentary coffee and pastries from Camino Bakery.

The 2025 Annual Golf Classic event will be held on Monday, November 3, 2025 at the newly renovated Maple Chase Golf & Country Club, with a shotgun start at 11:00am.
Your hole sponsorship or donation will directly benefit critical programs that support special needs children and their families.
