Farewell Dr. Davis… Co-Founder of CFEC

We are saddened by the loss of a great man and friend this week – Dr. Courtland Davis – was one of our founders and a force behind The Centers for Exceptional Children in its earliest years. Our team was lucky to know and love him.

June is always a bitter-sweet time of year for the staff, students a families at The Children’s Center and The Special Children’s School. We are all so proud of our students for all of their hard work, and also excited for the path that lies ahead. The Special Children’s School celebrated graduation on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Old Town Baptist Church, and The Children’s Center held their commencement activities at The Children’s Center on Monday, June 11, 2018.

Inaugural Unfolding Possibilities Luncheon is a Huge Success!

Thank you to everyone who was able to join our inaugural Unfolding Possibilities Luncheon! To date we have raised over $207,000 and are so grateful to our supporters and welcome our NEW PAPER CRANE SOCIETY MEMBERS!

Hunting for Eggs with Hanesbrands YLU and WSRAR

We were busy at BOTH of our schools on March 28th hunting for eggs and creating spring art projects in celebration of the season! We are grateful to the teams at Hanesbrands Young Leaders United and the Winston Salem Regional Association of Realtors for providing the fun for all of our children!
